Join Concerns of Police Survivors for a two-day, 25 mile walk along the Fox River Trail in honor of America's fallen Law Enforcement Officers. The walk will take participants along the Fox River between the towns of Aurora and Elgin.
Proceeds from this event benefit C.O.P.S. Hands-On Programs for surviving family members and co-workers who have lost a loved-one in the line of duty.
What to expect:
This two-day, 25 mile walk will be along the Fox River Trail between the towns of Aurora and Elgin taking in quaint waterfront villages, towns, and parks along the way. This paved rail-trail follows along both sides of the Fox River tracking back and forth over various bridges and river-ways of the Kane County Forest Preserve.
Participants are encouraged to arrive by 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15 in order to get checked into the hotel in time for the Kick-Off Dinner. The walk will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
Hotel accommodations, six meals, transportation and a walker gift are provided.
Participants will stay at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois.
If you are flying in, make arrangements to fly into either O'Hare or Midway Airports.
Transportation details from the airport to the hotel will be provided in the COPSWALK packet that will be mailed to you after registration.

How to be involved:
COPSWALK Participants are required to raise a minimum $1,000
or $750 each if they do not need a hotel room.
Can’t make it to one of our three COPSWALK locations? Don’t worry! You can still participate by registering as a virtual walker.
Virtual Team Type 1: Team of 1-10
Participants must raise a minimum of $500. Each person must walk their share of 25 miles wherever they live and each member will receive a shirt.
Virtual Team Type 2: Team of 11-25
Participants are asked to raise a minimum of $1,000. Each person must walk their share of 25 miles wherever they live and each member will receive a shirt.
